  The computerized Spintrak spinnerette inspection system operates using the principle of Video Image Analysis, and is thus more accurate, much faster, and far less costly to use than visual oil- or airflow type inspection systems.

Because the SpinTrak system has both front and back lighting systems, it can inspect not only for dirty, plugged, out-of-round, or occluded capillaries, but also for edge wear and damage. 
  User-selected pass-fail criteria are easily established by selecting measurements, tolerances, number of acceptable failed capillaries, number of acceptable plugged capillaries, and more.
